Time: 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)
The NB Network in Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations (PIHCI) and the Maritime SPOR Support Unit (MSSU) invites you to join us October 3rd, 2019 for the second annual Patients’ Den, where patient advisors will help set research priorities in New Brunswick. We will be granting cash awards to research teams with projects that respond to the NB PIHCI Priorities. The funding is to be used to help support research teams with further developing their research ideas and/or the development of grant applications.
Interested research teams will be asked to submit an online application and if approved will present their proposed research project at the in-person event on October 3rd. Applicants will have approximately 10 minutes to present, and may use visual aids. After each presentation, there will be a brief question and answer period.
The applications will be assessed by a panel of patients to determine how well the proposed ideas address the NB PIHCI priorities. A panel of researchers will also assess each project to ensure the scientific merit of the study.
The Request for Proposals will be announced late Spring 2019. Stay tuned for further exciting details!
